Li Xiaoxi is currently a research assistant in Department of Architecture, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. She holds a PhD degree from NUS, and obtained both M.Arch and B.Arch from Southeast University, China. Her research interests include methodological explorations of combining different morphological traditions in the conservation of historic urban areas in Asian context. She has presented her work in the 21st and 24th ISUF conferences, and the 2nd Symposium on Space Syntax in China, and received positive feedback. At present, she is working on a book of combined approach of urban morphology to plan unit recognition and landscape unit evaluation based on her PhD thesis.
